Drobižek had to do some homework for tracking, Gea, Pretty, Heidi and Kala were practising work with dummy launcher. They were all absolutely perfect at marking and retrieving. Also steadiness was OK (the exercise was always done in the way that working dog was without the leash, honouring dog on a leash). Even Kala did not bark (this was her 1st time working with dummy launcher; before she always made a sound when there was a shot). After she finished with her mark, she was put into the car with the others (puppies and Drobižek), where she barked for all the sounds from the dummy launcher. This was also Gea's 1st time working with dummy launcher and she just adored it (like other girls do). They had all perfect hold of that dummy. Also puppies, which were waiting in the car near the line, did not have any problems because of the sounds from the dummy launcher (nor Drobižek).
In the afternoon Kala, Heidi, Gea and Pretty (and May, who just went along) went for their 2nd dummy launcher practise that day, where Stane helped with launching the dummies (using the dummy launcher) for the 1st time. We went to a completely new terrain, where none of our dogs were ever before. All girls marked and retrieved very well, they were all fast there and back again. The only mistake was breaking from Kala (if she did not bark, she had to break - just the last mark for Heidi, when Kala was on the leash, was without any sound from Kala). Only Heidi performed for all the points.
On the 18. 03. 2013 in the early morning working girls (Heidi, Kala, Gea, Pretty) had a new dummy launcher practise, where Justina used the dummy launcher for the 1st time. Kala barked less and less, also she did not break every time. However, we let at the 1st attempt all the girls to go before the dummy landed. For the 2nd launch they were send with a delay. After performing the same exercise with the dummy launcher for all girls individually, we had classic working test training just with standard dummies without shooting (it gives our girls extra energy), with all the girls at the same time. 3 were being the honour dogs, 1 had to work. It was a positive training that finished in the heavy snowing.
